Eventide
Home of the Harmonizer.
Eventide began in a New York recording studio in the early 1970s, and its H910 Harmonizer of 1975 was the first commercially available digital effects unit. Today the New Jersey company makes rackmount processors, effects pedals and plug-ins, from the H90 pedal to the modal reverb Temperance, for engineers, producers and guitarists. It also distributes plug-ins from Newfangled Audio, started by former Eventide engineer Dan Gillespie.
