Finer than the sample grid.
Precision Time Align is a delay built for correction rather than effect. It slides a track later, or earlier with a negative delay, at a resolution 64 times finer than sample-level editing in a DAW. Coarse and Fine controls, a Phase Invert switch and offsets typed in as distance help engineers dial out the comb filtering and thin low end that appear when several mics on one source are summed.
