Pricing, VAT and Promotions Policy

1. UK pricing and VAT

Prices shown to UK consumers include UK VAT where applicable. VAT registration number: GB 520 0858 22.

The final order total is displayed before payment. A VAT invoice or receipt is available through the order record or on request.

2. International taxes

For customers outside the UK, VAT, GST, sales tax or similar charges may be included, calculated at checkout or payable by the customer depending on location, registration obligations and applicable law.

Where Softkrtl does not collect a local tax, the customer may be responsible for it. Digital products do not normally involve import shipping charges.

3. Currencies

Prices may be displayed in GBP, EUR, USD or another supported currency. The checkout currency and total are shown before payment.

Exchange rates, card-provider conversion and cross-border fees may cause the amount on a bank statement to differ. Third-party conversion fees are not charged by Softkrtl.

4. Reference and struck-through prices

A "was", reference or struck-through price should reflect a genuine, supportable comparison, such as a previous Softkrtl selling price or an identified publisher recommended price.

The basis of a comparison should be clear where it would not otherwise be obvious.

5. Discounts and savings

Percentage and cash savings are calculated against the stated reference price and rounded reasonably.

Promotions may be limited by brand, product, licence type, territory, customer eligibility, time or available authorised licence stock.

6. Timers and limited-time claims

An offer timer or end date will reflect a genuine deadline. It will not restart for the same customer in a misleading way after expiry.

If a publisher lawfully extends a promotion, Softkrtl may update the end date and make the extension clear where appropriate.

7. Errors

We may correct an obvious pricing or product error before accepting an order. If payment has been taken and we cannot honour the order, we will cancel and refund it.

We will not rely on a trivial error to cancel an accepted order where the price was not obviously wrong.

8. Refunds and currency

Refunds are made in the original transaction currency and to the original payment method unless otherwise agreed. Exchange movements and third-party bank charges may affect the local-currency amount received.
