Overview
Mics that dance around a Berlin room.
Tverb is a room reverb Eventide developed with producer Tony Visconti, modelled on the Meistersaal at Berlin's Hansa Tonstudios. Three virtual mics feed its console. The main mic has an adjustable polar pattern and an analogue-modelled compressor. Two room mics can sit anywhere in the room, or move with automation, to change depth and reflections, and each has its own linkable gate. Inspired by the setup Visconti used for David Bowie's "Heroes" vocal, it suits vocals, drums and other sources with a wide dynamic range.
