EQ65 recreates the Urei 565, the filter set engineers have long relied on when a frequency needs taming or removing outright. Its two bands make the search quick: sweep one in band pass until the offending frequency stands out, then switch it to a very narrow notch and use the depth control to cut it partly or entirely. Steep high and low pass filters clear the extremes, and the factory presets include settings for guitar, bass and synths as well as special effects.
