SplitEQ.
An eight-band EQ that separates transients from tone.
£115

Overview
Fix the attack, keep the tone.
SplitEQ runs every signal through Eventide's patented Structural Split, which divides it into a Transient stream of attacks, plosives and sibilance and a Tonal stream of sustained notes, harmonics and ambience. Each of its eight bands boosts, cuts and pans the two streams independently: de-ess a vocal by EQing only its transients, or tame a snare's ring in the Tonal mids while its crack stays put. It takes on many jobs that usually need an EQ, a transient designer and a de-esser, on single tracks, full mixes and flawed recordings.
