DeBoom splits each signal into transient and tonal layers with Eventide's patented Structural Split technology, then applies its low-frequency EQ curves to the tonal layer only. A kick or bass can shed muddy boom and resonance while its attack still lands, which an ordinary EQ cut tends to take with it. One dial sets the amount.
