Blackhole is Eventide's reverb without real-world limits, an algorithm that started life in the DSP4000 rack processor and now runs natively in your DAW. Set large, its soft attack and long harmonic tails bloom behind guitars, strings and pads; kept small, it lends vocals a glow or takes a plain drum part somewhere otherworldly. Gravity flips the decay so the tail swells instead of fading.
