CLA Classic Compressors collects the three compressors Chris Lord-Alge reaches for most, modelled from his own maintained hardware. The CLA-2A is the smooth optical valve unit, the CLA-3A the transparent solid-state one, and the CLA-76 the fast FET design, supplied in both Bluey and Blacky revisions. Between them they cover most of what compression is asked to do, and each suits different material, which is why engineers keep all three within reach.
