The API Collection brings together Waves' models of API's best-known processors, the 550A and 550B equalisers, the 560 graphic EQ and the 2500 bus compressor. The equalisers share API's proportional-Q behaviour, which keeps boosts focused and cuts unobtrusive with very little added colour, while the 2500 offers both vintage and modern compression characters. It is a compact set covering tone shaping and bus dynamics from one manufacturer's house sound.
