Maserati VX1 offers three vocal contours rather than a set of effect controls, each one a complete treatment. Contour 1 is a studio recording sound, Contour 2 a larger chamber, and Contour 3 a small room with delay suited to uptempo songs. These are not merely different reverb settings, since each brings the effects that make that space work, and the delay shifts subtly between them. A compress control in the first two accentuates detail.
