Graindad is a granular effect processor whose engine plays up to sixty-four grains at once to freeze, stutter, glitch and texturise incoming audio. Recording can be triggered by transients, host clock or MIDI, and a sixteen-step trigger sequencer drives the motion. Multimode filters, a suite of reverbs and modulation effects, and the Harvester modulation system shape the result.
