Maserati HMX adds texture, ambience and width to keyboards, from acoustic piano through to polysynths, and works on other sources such as drums. Two modes do quite different things. Modal widens the instrument and emphasises harmonics and attacks for an ethereal quality, while Bounce combines reverb and delay to create energy and movement. Both are aimed at keyboard parts that sound correct but lifeless once the mix is playing.
