Maserati GTi is neither an amp simulator nor a pedalboard, but a set of controls for making a guitar sit properly in a mix. Clean and Heavy modes cover rhythm tones, and it also works as a front end into an amp or sim, where it adds realism and feel rather than distortion. A Tame parameter controls peaks so the part stays even, chorusing runs from subtle to deep, and the guitar's own character stays recognisable throughout.
