CLA Guitars condenses Chris Lord-Alge's guitar chain into six effects, each with three tonal colours, under three overall modes covering Clean, Crunch and Heavy. That structure is the point, moving quickly from a delicate acoustic part to a hard rock stack without building a chain from scratch. The sounds come from his work with Foo Fighters, Green Day, Muse and My Chemical Romance, and the presets are a starting point rather than a destination.
