CLA Effects is the send-effects half of Chris Lord-Alge's chain, built for buses and tracks that need more than corrective processing. It carries distortion, two delay types with a throw switch for pushing single words or hits out into the repeats, pitch processing, reverb and stereo treatment. Short and long delays sync to tempo. The territory runs from lo-fi fuzz and dub-style echo to tape flanging and widening, which suits vocal adlibs and filtered instrument parts.
