CLA Bass is Chris Lord-Alge's bass chain in one plugin, six effects tuned specifically for electric and synth bass. Each offers three modes rather than continuous controls, so a sound arrives in a few decisions instead of a long tweak. The range runs from a sub-bass boost that shifts air in a room to a hard, growling distortion, with stereo chorus, widening and spreading available when the part needs to sit wider than dead centre.
