BB Tubes is a valve saturation plugin from the Magma series, built around two knobs with opposite jobs. Beauty handles delicate harmonic enrichment, Beast takes it somewhere far more aggressive, and blending the two covers most of the ground between. Tube soft-clipping means it will also lift apparent loudness quickly. It is designed to be dialled in without much deliberation, which is what makes it practical across drums, vocals, guitars, bass, synths and the mix bus.
