X-Hum removes mains hum along with the rumble and DC offset that sit below it. Hum arrives at 50 or 60 Hz depending on where a recording was made and both are handled, with eight tuned notch filters catching the fundamental and its harmonics. A high-pass filter at 12 or 24 dB per octave deals with rumble, and DC offset is worth removing because it eats headroom silently. It runs at zero latency.
