Clicks and spikes, gone.
X-Click removes strong, short transient noise, the clicks, spikes, switching noise and digital crosstalk a broad noise reducer will not catch. Vinyl and shellac transfers are the obvious use, though clocking errors and other digital faults produce the same kind of artefact. You can monitor only the clicks being removed while setting it up, and the display shows the last ten seconds of processing with the clicks marked in red.
