W43 emulates an industry-standard analog noise reduction system, known for working without the artefacts digital reduction tends to leave behind. Four dynamic EQ engines increase attenuation in each band as that band grows quieter, so noise falls away between words while the dialogue itself is left alone. You set a threshold, then lower the sliders until the noise goes. It is built for hiss, hum, traffic and wind on location recordings.
