TrueVerb splits a reverb into four sections you set separately, early reflections, the tail, EQ and damping. Controlling reflections independently is the useful part, since they carry most of the information about the size of a space, and reflections and tail can take different frequency responses. A low-frequency cut before the reflections stops the result muddying. It is light on CPU, which makes it practical across many tracks.
