Trans-X.

Trans-X shapes transients, softening or hardening the attack of percussive material, and can target only transients falling within a chosen level and duration range. That precision is what makes it usable on a finished stereo track. A multiband mode splits the signal into four bands with independent shaping, so a kick can be sharpened while cymbals are left alone even where no stems exist. The crossovers are phase-compensated.
