The G-Master is the compressor SSL fitted across the master bus of its consoles, and the standard answer for gluing a mix into one cohesive thing. Its knee softens as it is driven harder, which is why it resists sounding overcompressed even when pushed. It works equally well on drum buses and backing vocal groups. Waves adds a trim control for quick level matching, and dozens of presets come from working engineers.
