Overview

Just the EQ.

The G-Equalizer models the rack version of SSL's G 292 EQ, the pink knob design engineers reach for when they want character and shape rather than fine detail. Its proportional-Q behaviour widens the curve at small settings and tightens it at larger ones, giving gentler tonal shifts than a fixed-Q design. Multiplier buttons shift the mid band centre frequencies in one click, and an analog switch chooses between console character and digital transparency.
