SoundShifter changes pitch and time independently, the two most demanding processes in digital audio and the ones where stock DAW tools usually fall short. Three components cover different needs, from graphic manipulation of the time and pitch continuum to straightforward transposition. Practical uses run from trimming a commercial to fit a slot and transposing a backing track, through to sound design where the material is meant to be transformed rather than preserved.
