Overview
The console EQ, three ways.
Scheps 73 models the 1073 preamp and EQ together, which is the point, since the character comes from how that EQ sits behind that preamp rather than from either alone. Transformer saturation supplies the fat, warm quality it is known for. An included mid-side matrix allows centre and sides to be equalised separately, and it runs in mono, dual mono or stereo with four monitoring options. It was built with Andrew Scheps.
