Overview
Limiting, split five ways.
The L3 applies maximisation across five bands with linear-phase crossovers, so the split itself introduces no phase shift. Each band's dynamics can be optimised independently and the crossover frequencies are variable rather than fixed. It is built on Waves' Peak Limiting Mixer technology, and its intelligent release options keep the maximising fluid instead of pumping. The display shows what the process is doing at each stage, which matters when the changes are subtle.
