The L2 is the stereo-only version built specifically for mastering and bus work, pairing look-ahead brickwall limiting with level maximisation and output dithering. ARC, its auto-release control, adjusts release according to what the material is doing rather than holding one setting throughout. Internally it runs 48-bit double-precision maths, which is what keeps the noise shaping accurate. Latency stays low enough for live sound as well as mastering.
