The Helios desk.
HLS Channel models the Helios console at Olympic Studios in London, the desk behind records by Led Zeppelin, Hendrix, Bowie and Marley, and was built with Eddie Kramer. The Helios was known for fat bass, sweet saturation and presence at the top, and the model covers its EQ along with the behaviour and drive of the mic and line preamps. Historically accurate noise and hum can be switched in. It works on tracks, buses and masters.
