H-Comp is a compressor with modern precision and a choice of analog character rather than one fixed personality. Four analog models, drawn from SSL, API and V-series equipment, colour the dry signal as well as the processed one, so the character is selectable instead of baked in. A variable punch control adjusts how far transients survive compression, and a peak limiter sets a ceiling so nothing downstream is overloaded. Vintage warmth and hard percussive punch both sit within reach.
