Electric Grand 80 is a sampled CP-80, the electro-acoustic piano that made touring with a grand practical and shaped a great deal of late 70s and early 80s production, from Phil Collins and Elton John to ABBA, Toto and Billy Joel. It sits between an acoustic piano and a tine electric, more focused than the first and more complex than the second. Bass, mid and treble shape the tone, a formant control runs from mellow to bright, and key up and sustain pedal noises are sampled.
