Eddie Kramer Bass Channel is the bass half of the engineer's chain, drawn from his work with Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin and the Rolling Stones. Two starting points cover the ground he works between, Bass 1 less compressed so the part breathes, Bass 2 tighter and more aggressive. Compression sets how intense the result becomes, and a sensitivity LED handles gain staging so the chain is fed properly. The target is a fat, present bass that reads on radio without dominating.
