Dorrough Surround extends the same metering to 5.0 and 5.1, where there are more channels to hold in proportion and more ways for a mix to drift without anyone noticing. It responds instantly to peaks while averaging overall level, so the relationship between the two stays visible across every channel at once. The Overs LED holds when more than three samples exceed 0 dBFS. All the Dorrough Stereo meters are included alongside the surround ones.
