C1 Compressor.

The C1 is a dynamics processor covering compression, expansion, upward expansion, gating and dynamic filtering in one plugin, with sidechaining and internal sidechain filtering. It is deliberately clean, offering no character of its own, and exists to solve problems rather than add colour. Soft-knee compression avoids the squashed quality of harder designs, a look-ahead stage catches level changes properly, auto-makeup holds the output as you change the amount, and channel linking keeps a stereo balance intact.
