Brauer Motion.

Brauer Motion is an auto-panner that moves sound along a spherical path rather than simply left and right, built with Michael Brauer, whose mixes for Coldplay and John Mayer are known for their use of space. Two panners can be linked, each with four path shapes. Used gently it stops pads and reverbs sitting still, and it can shift background vocals off centre to clear room for a lead. Pushed hard it becomes an outright spinning effect.
