Satin models the behaviour of magnetic tape rather than a single machine, so you can build the recorder you want from its component parts. Tape speed, EQ curves, noise, wow and flutter set the character, while dedicated delay and flanging modes recreate classic tape-based effects. Companding models and calibration controls let it run clean or push into rich, musical saturation.
