MB Davids2Bus.
A modelled tape and transformer mix bus chain.
£135

Overview
Hit the right level, then mix into it.
MB Davids2Bus models the analogue chain David Gnozzi built for his own mix bus and puts it behind a few controls. Gain staging does most of the work: push the input until the meters’ green LEDs light to set the tape saturation, bump and transient control. Texture adds transformer colour in flavour A or B, and Width and 3D open out the stereo image. It belongs first on the mix bus, adding weight and definition, and many engineers push it harder on groups and tracks.
