Precision De-Esser v4 pairs a linear phase filter with a dedicated ess compressor: the filter zeroes in on the frequencies where sibilance sits, and the compressor reins them in without dulling the rest of the top end. SpectraFoo spectrum analysis is built in, with a choice of displays, and five listening points let you hear exactly what is being taken out. Vocals are its main job, though it handles sound design and other material as well.
