Largo 2 Upgrade takes owners of an original Largo licence to Waldorf's redesigned software synth, which installs as a separate plug-in so existing Largo projects keep running. The interface now scales smoothly from a 5K display down to a laptop screen. Three oscillators per voice mix classic waveforms with 68 wavetables from the Microwave, Wave, Q and Blofeld, and new formant filters sweep through vowel sounds as the cutoff moves. Existing soundsets work, and sounds made in Largo can be imported.
