Overview
The first Waldorf, four times the voices.
Microwave 1 Version 2 rebuilds Waldorf's first synthesizer from its circuitry up: the custom wavetable ASIC, the converters and Curtis filters, and the envelope and modulation behaviour that kept the original from sounding mechanical. Version 2 quadruples polyphony to 32 voices, gives every instrument part its own arpeggiator and adds a delay with filter, tremolo, diffusion and pitch shifting. A scalable interface draws the wavetables, envelopes and filter curves that the hardware's sparse panel kept hidden.
