The Blofeld Plugin is the software version of Waldorf's Blofeld, built on a wavetable engine whose lineage runs back to the PPG synthesizers of the early 1980s. Oscillators, wavetables, filters, envelopes, LFOs and effects share the Synth page, while a 16-part multimode sets MIDI channel, velocity and keyboard zone per part for layered sounds. It is compatible with existing Blofeld soundsets and can also control a Blofeld hardware unit, which is sold separately.
