Overview
Any sound can learn to talk.
Lector splits an incoming voice into 3 to 100 analysis bands and imposes their movement on a carrier: its own two-oscillator synthesizer or the audio of another track. A voiced/unvoiced detector, two compressors, overdrive, chorus, delay and reverb are built in. It suits robot vocals, talking drum loops, rhythmic pads and quiet harmonies under a lead. Lector is a VST2, VST3 or AU effect for a DAW, with no AAX or standalone version. One licence, activated through a my Waldorf account, runs on up to three computers at once.
