Twelve parts were only the start.
Attack 3 is the successor to Waldorf’s long-running percussion synthesizer, and this upgrade is for owners of Waldorf Edition 2 LE. Where the LE’s Attack offers 12 parts, an Attack 3 kit holds 24 sounds, 12 of which also play polyphonically as pitched instruments. Each sound starts from synthesis or your own samples, then runs through an expanded filter set, six new drive types and its own compressor, EQ and effect. It installs as a separate plug-in, leaving the LE’s Attack as it is.
