Attack 3 Upgrade from WE2.
A redesigned percussion synth for full Edition 2 owners.
Overview
Synthesis first, samples when you want them.
Attack 3 succeeds Waldorf Edition 2's Attack with a redesigned interface and expanded analogue-style engine. Each kit holds 24 sounds, 12 playable as pitched instruments. Every parameter can be tweaked live and automated from your DAW, shaping kicks, percussion and melodic parts rooted in 80s drum machines and 90s club music. This upgrade is for full Edition 2 owners; Edition 2 LE has its own upgrade. Attack 3 installs as its own plug-in, leaving your Edition 2 Attack unchanged; Edition 2 version 2.3.4 can export kits for Attack 3, including basic sound parameters.
