SpectraLayers Pro 13 Education is the full version of Steinberg’s Pro spectral editor, offered to students and teachers who can show proof of eligibility. It draws audio as a picture you can select, lift onto layers and repair. Version 13 leans into post-production: Unmix Sound Effects pulls short events out of wind, traffic or crowd beds, Ambience Heal fills the gaps with the surrounding background, and Unmix Two Voices splits two speakers without voice profiles. It runs on its own or through ARA 2 inside Cubase, Nuendo and other hosts.
