Sontec MES-432D9D recreates the filter curves and box tone of the MES-432D9 hardware mastering equaliser, modelled with Metric Halo's state-space model extraction process. It pairs three parametric bands with two shelves, in stereo or mid/side, and lets you adjust parts of the box tone. Stepped controls make each setting easy to note and recall, which suits mastering engineers making careful, repeatable moves on a finished stereo mix.
