Overview
Old instruments, new legends.
Hollywood Fantasy Orchestra and Ancient Kingdom are two separate EastWest collections, each produced by Doug Rogers and Nick Phoenix. Hollywood Fantasy Orchestra keeps the orchestral sections but fills them with folk and period instruments: viola da gambas for cellos, Wagner tubas for French horns. Ancient Kingdom adds Saulius Petreikis on rare winds, with four FX mixes beside four microphone mixes. In both, a Classic, Soft or Epic Mood resets an instrument's mic blend and reverb at once. Both collections use EastWest Opus; Ancient Kingdom requires Opus 1.5.6 or later.
