WaveLab Cast 2 is the podcast edition of Steinberg's WaveLab audio editor. Record from an audio interface or import takes from a field recorder, then arrange voices, music and effects as clips on tracks. Treatment stays simple: the Inspector cleans and shapes speech with one or two controls, and Cast can process a finished mix to a platform's loudness standard such as YouTube's. Episodes upload directly to podcast hosts, publish as an RSS feed or go out over FTP. Activation runs through a Steinberg Licensing account and needs an internet connection.
