Overview
Three concert grands, one keyboard.
The Grand 3 puts five sampled pianos in one plug-in: three concert grands, a vintage upright by Nordiska Pianofabriken and a CP80 Electric Grand whose samples Yamaha recorded in Japan. Every acoustic model can be played from a Close or a Player microphone position, both drawn from a twelve-microphone session. Sustain and sostenuto pedals are supported, with quiet mechanical noises and true resonance in the sound. The 30 GB library needs an internet connection to activate its licence.
